Biography

During my research career in Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU, New Delhi) since 2008, I received First Rank certificate (Gold Medallist) for topping through all semesters in M.Tech.batch 2008-2010. I was also awarded with Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) by Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) for my doctoral research in 2012. Presently, I am working as Associate Professor and serving academics & research for more than 9 years in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering & Information Technology, Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida-62, U.P., since 2013. I have published more than 70 articles in reputed SCI/Scopus journals, conferences, books, and chapters. Also, I’ve participated in organizing international conferences/sessions. Moreover, I’m involved as reviewer for many international conference and journals, including IEEE Systems, IEEE Transactions on Computational Social Systems, Elsevier Computer Science Review, Elsevier JKSUCIS, Springer HCIS, Inderscience IJCNDS, etc. Additionally, I have been in the publication & review committee of IEEE International Conference on Contemporary Computing (IC3) since year 2013. I have also delivered Lecture Series on Networks & Graphs, Wireless Sensor Networks, and Performance Analysis of Computing Systems; organized by UGC, CEC, New Delhi in form of EDUSAT Live Lectures. I have guided 18 post-graduate dissertation/industrial thesis and more than 60 graduate minor/major projects in social networking, large-scale graph algorithms, sensor networks, data mining & machine learning. Presently, I am supervisor to 4 PhD scholars in the field of social networking and sensor networks. For my contribution to research, I was promoted as IEEE Senior Member in 2019 by Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (IEEE), New York, USA. I am also an active member of ACM research community.
