September 14, 2010: JIIT organized an evening of Qawwali under the aegis of SPIC-MACAY (Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth) by Padmashri Aziz Ahmed Khan Warsi and Natinal Awardee Ustad Zaheer Ahmed Khan Warsi popularly known as “Warsi Brothers” August 15, 2010: “Independence Day” was celebrated by faculty, staff and students.
August 12, 2010: RIBOSE and GV’s, organized “LIFE” - An acoustic night. (LIFE - Let’s Improvise For Earth) on 12 August, 2010, from 8 – 10.30 p.m. on the occasion of International Youth Day.
August 11, 2010: An interaction was organized with Mr. Yogi Raj, a Biotechnology alumnus from the first batch who has set up his own consulting firm Nesting Idea.
July 20, 2010: A program was organized to welcome the freshers (B. Tech 1st year students).
May 22, 2010: A farewell party was organized for outgoing B. Tech 4th Year and M. Tech 2nd year students.
May 2, 2010: Students of our Institute organized a blood donation camp in association with Rotary Club south Delhi.
April 30, 2010: Technical Society of JYC “Digital Mania” organized an event comprising glimpse of life of Shannon, special guest lecture, project exhibition and quiz etc. on the life of “Claude Elwood Shannon” known as father of Information Technology.
28 April 2010: Padmashri and Sangeet Natak Academy Awardee Shovana Narayan an eminent and venerated maestro of KATHAK performed KATHAK dance recital under the aegis of SPIC MACAY (Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture amongst Youth).
April 2010: Learning Resource Centre: Awarded Highest usage for ACM digital library among the self supporting institutions under AICTE-INDEST Consortium for the consecutive 3rd year.
April 12-14, 2010 : Our student Mr. Aniket Bera was selected among the Top 25 Microsoft Student Partners to attend India's Biggest IT Conference, TechED 2010, at Bangalore. This is a very prestigious 3 day conference where the Industry leaders like Mr. Steve Balmer, Mr. Bill Gates come. He is selected and sponsored by Microsoft.
March 16, 2010: A farewell program was organized for MBA batch (2008-10) final year students.
March 15 - 18, 2010: IEEE Society, JYC organized “CONSTELLATION an array of events ANDROMEDA- a “creative poster making competition”, online quiz event and robotics event.
March 12-13, 2010: 18 Students from JIIT, JIET & JUIT were respectively selected to participate in “India Today Conclave” held at Taj Palace Hotel, Delhi. Sessions were held their on various topics. Dignitaries like Ministers, Filmmakers, Philosopher and renowned guests from across the world participated in the conclave.
March 12, 2010: “InnoVAS Innovators contest 2009-10” was organized for gathering of innovative ideas in specific areas of VAS (Value added services) in mobile technology.
February 22, 2010: The Institute held its 6th Annual Convocation on 22 February 2010. The function was graced by Prof William C. Webster, Former Provost, University of California, Berkeley who delivered the Convocation address.
February 4 - 7, 2010: Inter college festival “JIVE”, was organized at campus which included various cultural, social & educational programs.
January 26, 2010: Institute celebrated Nations 61st Republic Day.
January 2, 2010: Celebrated as Workers Day at Institute.
November 19, 2009: A felicitation function followed by Dinner was organized to encourage JYC team for their contribution in various activities conducted by them at Clarc Inn, Pacific Mall, Ghaziabad.
November 14, 2009: “Marketing Plan Competition” as a part of course curriculum was organized by PD department of JIIT.
November 11, 2009: According to UGC’s guidelines Maulana Abdul Kalak Azad’s birthday was celebrated as National Education day at JIIT Campus.
October 26-28, 2009: Cultural evening was organized in the Institute. Renowned Mohan Veena exponent & Ustad Asif Ali Khan and Quttubi Brothers had performed a Qawwali Performance.
October 01 2009: Students of Entrepreneurial Course under guidance of PD department organized the General Knowledge Quiz competition.
September 27 – October, 2009: The students of RIBOSE club celebrated the “Joy of Giving week” in which they collected books (used/old) from all groups of people and then sent them to various NGOs across the city.
September 13, 2009: “Voluntary Blood Donation Camp” was organized under the banner of Lioness Club ‘Siddhi’, Noida.
September12, 2009: JIIT, Sector-128 campus organized a welcome function “Exuberance” for its first batch of students.
September 05 2009: Teacher’s Day” was celebrated under Aegis of Jaypee Youth Club (JYC).

August 20, 2009: A “Talk Show” by Literary Society to discusses the issue relating to National security and defense.
July 30, 2009: A cultural evening (Ebullience) was organized by the senior students of JIIT to welcome fresher students admitted in 2009.
May 27, 2009: A farewell function was held for the M. Tech 2009 pass out batch of students.
May 24, 2009: Dinner-cum-Cultural evening was organized jointly by the University and the students to bid ‘farewell’ to the 2009 B. Tech pass out batch of students.
April 27, 2009: A farewell program was organized for MBA batch (2007-09) final year students.
April 22, 2009: Members of RIBOSE, the technical Society of JIIT conducted a “Climate Change Orientation program” to discuss the environmental issues.
April 16-19, 2009: Annual Techno-cultural-literary College Festival – JIVE ’09 (April 16-19).
March 17, 2009: The Institute held its 5th Annual Convocation on 17 March 2009. The function was graced by Shri Gulam Nabi Azad, Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, and now Minister of Heath and Family Welfare.
November 11, 2008: The Biotech society of JIITU, RIBOSE organized a literacy workshop on “National Education day” on Nov.11, 2008.
October 3, 2008: The First issue of JBS Research Papers and Teaching Cases was launched on Friday, October 3, 2008. It was released by Prof. S. K. Khanna, Former Vice Chairman, University Grants Commission and Former Chairman, AICTE, New Delhi.
August 12, 2008: Organized an “Idea Generation Workshop” for Entrepreneurial Development Course students with NEN on August 12, 2008.
May 2008: A contingent of students of Smart pioneer batch (2007-09) underwent the International Study Exchange Programme at University of Massachusetts, Boston.
May 10, 2008: Department of CSE/IT organized a “Project Exhibition” of the projects carried out by CSE/IT students as part of their Academic Programme. A wide range of hardware and software projects were displayed.
May 09, 2008: VC hosted a Blessing and Farewell Dinner for final year students.
April 10, 2008: The CSE/IT department organized a student project exhibition on April 10, 2008.
March 11, 2008: The Institute held its 4th Annual Convocation on 11 March 2008. The function was graced by Dr. Abid Hussain IAS (Retd.), Padma Bhushan, Former Ambassador of India to the United States of America and currently Chancellor, Central Institute of English and Foreign Languages (CIEFL), Hyderabad.
February 19-20, 2008 - Garden & Flower Show – Noida & Grater Noida: -For the third successive year JIIT was awarded the trophy for the best Garden amongst Educational Institutions of Noida and Greater Noida. For having won 6 first prizes, 1 second prize and 2 third prizes of different variety of flowers, JIIT was awarded this trophy for scoring maximum aggregate points. Two cups were awarded as first prizes for Cineraria and Pansy variety of flowers.
January 27, 2008: The CSE/IT Department organized a technical session on LINUX /Solaris Install Fest on 27th January, 2008.

November 30, 2007: The first User Training Programme on EBSCO, Business Source Premium Database with more than 9000 e-journals and industry reports was conducted in JIIT to enable the faculty, students and research scholars to take the benefit of this library resource.
November 18, 2007: A voluntary Blood Donation Camp was organized on November 18, 2007 under the banner of Rotary Club Ghaziabad. The donors also got their complete Blood profile done including the test for Thallasemia
November 16, 2007: Launch of Ribose: ‘Ribose’ (Resonance in Biotechnologist and Engineers), a technical society was formulated by the students of Biotechnology on November 16, 2007 for the purpose of professional enhancement and development of students.
November 3, 2007: The CSE/IT Department organized a technical session on JDBC Connectivity and NETBEANS on 3rd November, 2007.
November 1, 2007: The CSE/IT Department organized a contest workshop “Code for Freedom” on Nov 1, 2007.
