Year 2013:

March 13, 2013: Prof William Webster visited JIIT 128 and interacted with the faculty and students.

March 13, 2013: Dr. Phani Tej Adidam, Professor of Marketing and Sales Management and Dr. Louis Pol, Dean College of Business Administration from University of Nebraska Omaha visited JIIT and JBS. A lecture cum interactive session titled, “Comparative Intelligence for Organizational Success” was organized.

March 11, 2013: Prof. William C. Webster, Professor Emeritus, University of California, Berkeley, USA visited Jaypee Business School, Noida on March 11, 2013 and interacted with JBS faculty members and research scholars.

January 30, 2013: Officials of University of South Alabama (USA) visited JIIT. The Visiting Delegation included- Ms Brenda Hinson – Director of International Student Recruiting & Relations, Dr. John Pardue – Chair and Professor Department of Information Sciences & Technology (Graduate Program coordinator) and Mr Rajneesh Singh – Assistant Professor, School of Computing.

Year 2012 and Before

November 30, 2012: Officials of Anglia Ruskin University visited JIIT on 30 November 2012 and interacted with senior officials. The Visiting Delegation included- Ms. Sandra Hollis, Pro Vice Chancellor, Mr. Austin Brown, Regional Director - South Asia and Mr Rohit Verma, International Marketing & Admissions Manager.

October 4, 2012: Dr. Gopal Kundu, Scientist 'F', National Centre for Cell Science, Pune University and Dr. Dhananjay Kumar, Tewary, Scientist ‘D’, Department of Biotechnology, Government of India visited Department of Biotechnology, JIIT.

September 25, 2012: Dr John Christensen, Chancellor at University of Nebraska at Omaha visited JIIT.

September 14, 2012: Dr. Rita Banerjee, Scientist ‘F’ & Member Secretary PAC Health Sciences, SERC Division, Ministry of Science & Technology, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, visited Department of Biotechnology, JIIT.

March 12, 2012: Prof. William Webster, Member Board of Management and former Vice-Provost, University of California visited JIIT & JBS and interacted with Faculty members and students.

July 18, 2011: Executive Chairman, Jaypee Group Shri Manoj Gaur visited JIIT and addressed all the Members of Faculty and Senior Officers of staff.

June 29, 2011: Prof. William Webster, Member Board of Management and former Vice-Provost, University of California visited JIIT and interacted with Faculty members and students.

May 12, 2011: A delegation from Ireland including Ms Katha Calleghan, Senior Vice President- Jagran, National Head Education-Jagran associated with TUI-EDUCATION division Ireland, which promotes TFEL and various other courses/product as a joint venture with various universities and institutions abroad, visited JIIT to explore the possibility of a joint venture in education

March 9, 2011: Dr A D Amar, Professor of Management at Stillman School of Business, USA visited JBS and interacted with Faculty and students

March 3-4, 2011: A delegation from France, Ecole Centrale Paris visited the JIIT Campus with a view to explore the possibility of starting Jaypee-Ecole Centrale using the JIIT campus and its infrastructure to offer the academic programs on behalf of their organization. Delegation members included Mr. Herve Biausserm, Director, Mr. Cristopher Crips, Director – Relations (International) and Mr. Nishit Jain, India Representative

February 20-22, 2011: Prof. William Webster, Member Board of Management and former Vice-Provost, University of California visited JIIT and interacted with students and Faculty.

December 8, 2010: Mr Vijay Kumar and Dr Kevin Truman from University of Missouri-Kansas City visited JIIT for discussing the possibility of degree programme collaboration.

November 22, 2010: A delegation from Alliance 4 Universities (A-4U), Spain consisting of four Vice Chancellors [Rectors] and four Deputy Vice Chancellors [Vice Rectors] visited JIIT. Consequent to the discussion, a MoU was signed on November 24, 2010 aiming at collaborative research, faculty development and exchange of faculty and students.

November 7-13, 2010: Prof.   Rao Vemuri, University of California, Davis  visited the Institute to deliver short courses and conduct workshops on Genetic Algorithms, Contemporary Intelligent Systems and Research Methodology for CSE.

October 26, 2010: Delegation from University of Leicester - UK, visited JIIT to discuss the possibilities of a MoU on various academic issues. A delegation accompanied by Prof. Sehgal and Prof. Muneesh Kumar,  Department of Financial Studies, South campus, DU. comprised of the following persons:

1. Prof. (Dr.) Chris Cane, Director of Taught Graduate Programmes, College of Medicine and Biological Sciences and Psychology, Faculty of Medicine and Biological Sciences, University of Leicester.
2. Prof. Jose Luiz Fiadeiro, Professor and Head, Department of Computer Science, University of Leicester.

October 25, 2010: Mr. Peter Brady, Associate Dean for International Development, Edinburgh Napier University visited to talk on possibilities of association with JIIT.

May 15, 2010: Delegation from the School of Life Sciences, Napier University, Scotland  visited JIIT for exploring the possibility of collaboration and exchange.

December 10, 2009: Prof. Madhav Bhatia, Programme Leader, Cardiovascular Biology Research Programme, Life Sciences Institute, University of Otago, Christchurch, New Zealand visited the Institute and interacted with the faculty and the research students of Department of Biotechnology to explore the possibilities of research collaboration.

September 24, 2009: Mr. Laurent HUA, Director Development, Academic and International Development (ECE)- Paris visited JIIT on September 24, 2009.

August 17-18, 2009: Review of Deemed University Status by MHRD and UGC. The JIIT was visited by an expert Review Committee from the UGC from August 17-18, 2009.

March 17, 2009: Dr. Syed Haque, Professor and Chairman, Department of Health Informatics and Director, Graduate Program in Biomedical Informatics, University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey and Dr. D. P. Mital of the same University visited JIIT in March 17, 2009.

Prof. Sartaj Sahni, distinguished professor and Chair, CSE, University of Florida visited the University on few occasions to draw out the details of mutual understanding to move the students for 8th Semester program at the UF in 2009.

March 04, 2009: Ms. Luna Das Bangia, Educational Advisor North India, United States-India Educational Foundation (USIEF) visited JIIT to conduct an information session on “Opportunities for Higher Education in the United States”.

February 25, 2009: Prof. William Webster, Member Board of Management and former Vice-Provost, University of California visited the University and interacted with students and Faculty.

February 04, 2009: Students and Faculty of Edith Cowen University, Australia visited the University besides interaction a Guest lecture was conducted on “Data Mining Application in RFID” by Mr. Christopher.
January 12, 2009 : Mr. Tony Harker, Director & Chief Executive – ISLI and Mr. Pnku Biswas, Country Representatives (India) visited the University and organized a seminar on ‘Educational Opportunities (Engineering) & Funding options available in the UK.

February 04, 2008:  Prof. John Raftery, Dean of the School of Built Environment and Pro Vice Chancellor for External Affairs, Oxford Brookes University.

January 12, 2008: Prof. Arindam Bandopadhyaya and delegation of 11 students from the University of Massachuttes, Boston visited the Jaypee Business School as a part of exchange programme.

January 8, 2008: A team of two faculty members along with ten student delegates from College of Business Administration, Marquette University, Milwaukee, USA visited Jaypee Business School as part of the exchange programme.

December 12, 2007: Mr. Ojan Jamkhou, Vice President, Royal Bank of Canada & Mr. Deepak Gill from Fasken Martinue DU Moulin LLP, Canada visited JBS and interacted with the faculty and students.

December 11, 2007: Prof. Lachlan MacKinnon from University of Abertay Dundee, Scotland visited JIIT for finalization of the MoU with JIIT.

December 4-5, 2007: Visit by Expert Team of UGC:  An expert team of UGC visited the University from December 4-5, 2007 for reviewing the Deemed University status of the University on completion of initial period of three years.

November 28, 2007: Dr Michael Green, International In-Charge, University of Leicester, UK visited the University

November 26, 2007: Following officials from University of Westminster, UK visited JIIT and interacted with the Members Supervisory Board, VC, Dean (A&R), Heads of the Departments for a possible collaboration between the two Universities:

November 05, 2007: Mr. Andrew Bird from Oxford Brookes University, Oxford, UK visited JIIT and had discussions with the Vice Chancellor, Dean (A&R) and Heads of the Departments regarding the possible collaboration between the two Universities.

September 21 2007: A delegation of 27 Rectors of Universities of Applied Sciences from Finland visited the University on 21 September, 2007 and signed a Memorandum of Association aiming at exchange of programmes, faculty and students for developing the ties to enhance the cooperation in University education.

August 31- September 2, 2007: The AICTE accreditation team of experts visited the University from 31 August, 2007 to 02 September, 2007 for considering the accreditation of the undergraduate programmes.

July23- August 4, 2007: Dr. William Koehler, Graduate Programme Director, College of Management, University of Massachusetts, Boston along with a delegation of 9 students attended the programme at JBS Noida from 23 July, 2007 to 04 August, 2007 as a part of student exchange programme.
