Sports Facilities

Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida although known better for its great academic environment, also boast an equally active sports culture.

The JIIT sports division plays an important role for the grooming and growth of students.
Apart from professionally managed syllabi, JIIT facilitates its students to excel in the field of sports. JIIT sports division organized variety of sports events not only in JIIT and also encourages to the students to take part in different games such as Cricket, Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Lawn Tennis and Badminton in events organized out side JIIT.

As JIIT is envisioned to be a center of excellence, the University motivates the students to participation not only in inter- college events but also the intra-college events. Our students have successfully participated and won laurels for the University.

Sports Participation in the Session 2009-10

1. Cricket team played a match against Mayoor Corporate Team at Mayoor School, Sector 125, Noida and team won this match.


2. Cricket team played a match against Amity University Team at Amity University Ground, Sector 44, Noida and team won this match.


3. Played a Football Tournament at Indirapuram (Ghaziabad) team is Runner-up.


4. Participated in Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi in sports fest Due to heavy rain fall the tournament had been cancelled.  JIIT team performance was as under.

5.   Cricket team played a match against Jaypee Corporate Team at Jaypee Sports Complex, Greater Noida and team won this match.
