About RIBOSE

RIBOSE – The Biotech society of JIITU was launched on 16th November 2007 as a wing of Jaypee Youth Club under the able guidance of our dynamic vice chancellor Prof J.P. Gupta.

RIBOSE which stands for Resonance In Biotechnologists and Engineers believes that the foundation stone for the society is the resonance which exists which exists among the members of the society. It is this resonance, semblance of thoughts, which encourages the opinion of individuals and endeavors biotechnology in our university as well as the country.

RIBOSE believes that the most futile desire is to blend with normality and mediocrity where an individual is remembered as just another mass-produced machine. So we endeavor to promote interaction, communion and camaraderie among the students in this stream of science, where knowledge shared is believed to be knowledge gained. We intend to float in the plethora of knowledge that awaits us and emerge critical thinkers and problem solvers.

Aims and Objectives

 

· To provide students exposure to the Upcoming Technologies.

· To spread awareness among students in the field of Biotechnology.

· To promote interaction between students of different academic years.

· To build a rapport between the students and the Biotech Organizations .

· To organize Biotech events in the form of quizzes, debates, group discussions etc.
