Title: Software Architectural Aspects of Contemporary Platforms

Abstract: Any application we build today is likely to have a mobile front end with the server(s) sitting on a cloud. That means some part of the functionality is sitting on the cloud and some on the client. What is the impact of this architecture on the application design process and on the quality attributes of the application? In this talk we talk of the opportunities and challenges this eco-system offers. We discuss in detial a cloud quality attribute, Hospitality and a Dynamic Appification which allows computation to move from the cloud to the mobile in real-time.
