JIVE 2008: EXPLORING IMAGINATION

The spring of 2008 explored the imaginations of the students of JIIT. The campus was infused with this flow of positive energy which seemed to be harmonizing the entire student body. Innovative thoughts and unencumbered imagination of the students made the fest a success. To begin with, the famous bollywood singer KK performed at the cultural night. Indi Pop band Euphoria set the crowd craving for more music. It was truly a pulse beating night.
The Technical Society organised some enthralling events like the Programming Olympics, Robotics and Lethalz. Cultural shows were the show stealers. There were group dance performances, street plays, and treasure hunts which kept the participants engrossed.
In spite of us being a technical college, the interest of students in the literary field is very heartening. Therefore the events conducted by the literary society were relished by all. Group discussions, debates like Varta and competitions like spin a Tale were very entertaining as they judged the participant’s spontaneity and presence of mind.
Jive 2008 left an unforgettable impression on everybody s hearts as the students did not only get to explore their imaginations but they also got the chance to realise the hidden talent and strike new friendships. The fest was an epitome of vigour and dedication of the students.
