External Participation

Students Activities:

October 29-31, 2009 : Outstanding performance was achieved by JIIT students by secured most of the prizes at Robotics event, held at Thapar University.

November 4, 2009 : Our students Mr. Harshit Gangal and Mr. Rahul Gulati participated at Thapar University Fest and secured 1st position in various activities.

January 22, 2010 : Mr. Pawan Kumar, Ph. D scholar has been awarded Senior Research Fellowship (SRF) from Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Govt. of India.

January 27-31, 2010 : Students of JIIT attended 5 days Robotics Event at IIT, Kharagpur “Kshitiz10” and achieved outstanding results.

February 4 - 7, 2010 : Inter college festival “JIVE”, was organized at campus including various cultural, social & educational programs.

February 20, 2010 : Our B.Tech CSE program student Mr. Abhinav Shrivastava got an admission in MS (Robotics) at Carnegie Mellon University. This is internationally the most reputed program in Robotics.

March 15-18,2010 : Four days events were organized by technical society of JYC followed by creative poster making, online quiz event and robotics event.

March 15-21, 2010 : Two students Mr. Rahul and Mr. Kunal showed their caliber by securing 1st position in Programming contests conducted by IIT, Delhi, NITK (Surathkal), JSS, NIT (Kurukshetra) & Amity University.

March 26-28, 2010 : Four students of biotechnology participated in the Ideaz Paper Presentation Competition held at IIIT-Roorkee and won 2nd & 3rd Prize respectively. Around 27 teams from different colleges across the country including IITs participated in the event.

April 12-14, 2010 : Mr. Aniket Bera has been selected among the Top 25 Microsoft Student Partners to attend India's Biggest IT Conference , TechED 2010, at Bangalore. This was a very prestigious 3 day conference where the top Industry personnel such as Mr. Steve Balmer, Mr. Bill Gates were present. He was selected and sponsored by Microsoft.

April 30, 2010 : Technical Society of JYC “Digital Mania” organized an event comprising, special guest lecture, project exhibition and quiz etc. on the life of “Claude Elwood Shannon” known as father of Information Technology.

May 2, 2010 : JIIT organized a blood donation camp in association with Rotary Club south Delhi.
