GUIDELINES FOR POSTER PRESENTATION

The poster should contain the following

  1. Title
  2. Authors name address:  Underline the author who presents the paper.
  3. Abstract
  4. Text Body
  5. Tables/Figures (if required)
  6. Acknowledgements
  7. References

Single column italics arial 11 point of not more than 300 words.

Keywords (Times New Roman 11 Bold): 4-5 keywords (Times New Roman 11)

Running text should be in single column width only.
Page set up: A4
Top margin: 1"
Bottom margin: 1"
Left margin: 1.25"
Right margin: 1.25"
Typefaces: Text: Times New Roman, 11 pt

Heading 2: Times New Roman, 11 pt, Bold (sections within major sections)
Major sections: Times New Roman 11 pt, Capital letters and Bold

1. INTRODUCTION (with brief review in the particular field)
2. MATERIALS AND METHODS
3. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION (including figures and tables numbered serially and inserted in running text wherever they have to appear in the paper). The captions should be brief.
4. REFERENCES

1. Running text under each major section and subsection should be Times New Roman 11 pt.
2. Subsections within major sections: Title of subsection Times New Roman 11 point bold.
3. Headers, Footers and Pagination: Do not use headers or footers. Do not use pagination. This will be done when the proceedings are produced.

References: References in the text are indicated by authors’ names and year of publication in parentheses “(Gupta, 1998)” or “(Sharma and Singh, 1998)”. If a referenced paper has three or more authors the reference should appear as first author followed by et al. All names should be mentioned in the reference. Multiple citations should be ordered by date, e.g. (Jain et al, 1971; Thampayak et al, 1980; Lumyong, 2005). Use a semi-colon to divide the citations. References to works published in the same year should be cited as, e.g. (Tiwari, 1999a; 1999b).

The references should be listed alphabetically at the end of the manuscript. Journal titles should not be abbreviated.
