Prof. G. Kumar

  Prof. G. Kumar is working as a Professor in Department at Electrical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai since February 2001. He is also the Chairman at Chairman, Wilcom Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Navi Mumbai since June 2005. He has worked as an Associate Professor in Department of Electrical Engineering at I.I.T. Bombay; Univ. of North Dakota, USA; Univ. of Manitoba, Canada and I.I.T. Kanpur, India.
  He received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from A.M.U. Aligarh, India, 1978 and Ph.D. degree from I.I.T. Kanpur, India, 1981. He has written a book entitled “Broadband Microstrip Antennas” published by Artech House, USA.He has written more than 200 papers in the international and national journals and conference proceedings.
  His research interests are Micro strip antennas and arrays, Broadband antennas, Microwave integrated circuits, EMI/ EMC, RF communication circuits. He also built a device to reduce risk for radiation.
  He was awarded “ProfesorExtraordinario” of the Univ. of Navarra, San Sebastian, Spain, 2004. He received Best Paper Award in experimental area, National Communication Conference (NCC-2004), I.I.Sc. Bangalore, India.
