  • Launch of New AICTE Placement Portal
    Wednesday, November 1, 2023

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    Greetings from AICTE..

As you aware that, In many rural and tribal areas, the job market is quite limited, and the opportunities available for recent graduates is scarce. As a result, many students who grew up in rural and tribal areas are often struggling to find employment after graduation. This can be a major challenge, as it can lead to high levels of unemployment and underemployment, which can have negative effects on the economy.

In urban areas, students have access to a wide range of professional organizations and networking events that can help them connect with potential employers. In rural areas, however, these opportunities may be few and far between, making it difficult for students to build the professional connections they need to succeed in their chosen field.

To overcome this problem, AICTE has developed a placement portal for village and tribal area students that can be a powerful tool to help bridge the gap between urban and rural areas in terms of access to employment opportunities. The portal will serve as a platform for connecting rural students with MNCs, Industries, and other employers for job opportunities and providing them with the resources they need to succeed in the job market.

The portal is designed to be user-friendly and accessible to students who may not have access to high-speed internet or the latest technology. It can include features such as job listings, career advice, and networking tool.

we are glad to share with you that the newly developed placement portal is Full-fledged ready. This portal is scheduled to be launched by Hon’ble Chairman, AICTE Prof. T. G. Sitharam on 2nd November 2023 at 11:30 AM in online mode from AICTE Hqrs.

You are requested to kindly make it convenient to attend above said launch ceremony. The joining link is given below:

AICTE- Request to participate in an “Online live course on Digital Forensics using Kali Linux- Free of Cost - starting 22nd Oct 2023

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    Greetings from the AICTE..

Digital forensics, often considered as the modern detective's toolkit, has rapidly become a crucial component in both the investigation of cybercrimes and the recovery of digital evidence for a wide range of infractions. With the burgeoning advancements in technology, digital devices are pervasive in all aspects of life. As such, they often hold the key to invaluable evidence in the form of data. At the confluence of this digital evolution stands Kali Linux, an open-source operating system tailored for digital forensics and penetration testing. The significance of education on digital forensics using Kali Linux for emerging talents cannot be understated.

As the digital footprint of individuals grows, so does the realm of potential evidence. From smartphones and personal computers to cloud accounts and IoT devices, each can potentially hold information pivotal to a case. These might include communication logs, location data, or other incriminating evidence. Digital forensics, therefore, has emerged not just as an ancillary branch of traditional forensics but as a robust field in its own right. More than 1 lakh digital forensic engineers are needed right away in India and it's a great opportunity learn underlying engineering principles for digital forensics.

As India’s embraces a spate of unprecedented increase in cybercrime, we need thousands of trained digital forensic investigators. The digital landscape continues to expand and evolve, so will the challenges associated with investigating cybercrimes. For budding talents eager to make a mark in digital forensics, proficiency in tools like Kali Linux is indispensable. However, proficiency alone isn't enough; a structured education that ingrains both the technical and ethical aspects of the field is paramount.
