Department Overview

Since its inception in 2001, the Department of Computer Science & Engineering and Information Technology (CS&E and IT) at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida, is one of the flagship academic units of JIIT Noida. Over the years, it has built a reputation for strong academics, innovative teaching practices, and consistent placement performance. The department operates under the larger vision of JIIT to be a center of excellence in education and research, with a clear emphasis on emerging areas like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Big Data, Cyber Security, Internet of Things, etc. It has a faculty strength of over 135 highly qualified and motivated members, ensuring that students receive both depth and breadth of knowledge across core and advanced computing domains. Academically, the department offers a well-structured set of programmes for Diploma (3 years), Undergraduate (4 years B. Tech), Postgraduate (2 Years M. tech and 5 years Integrated M.
