The Creativity and Innovation Cell in Electronics (CICE) is the core technical body of the electronics department at JIIT. It focuses on bridging theoretical learning with hands-on experience by training students in PCB design, microcontroller development, and practical electronics. CICE encourages innovation through project-based learning, helping students strengthen their concepts and apply them to real-world applications.

VIDYUT, the annual technical fest organized by CICE, runs under the theme CTRL + ALT + CREATE and serves as a dynamic platform for students to innovate, compete, and collaborate. The fest features a variety of engaging events including Code CTRL, a logic-based coding challenge; Innoverse, a student project exhibition that brings creative hardware ideas to life; and Unboxed, a rapid-fire tech quiz that tests knowledge, speed, and critical thinking. VIDYUT continues to be a celebration of creativity, technology, and teamwork.
SPARK focuses on showcasing student-led innovations and promoting a culture of hands-on experimentation. As part of SPARK, CICE hosts a curated project exhibition that allows students to present their ideas and prototypes. A key highlight of the event was the expert talk by Ms. Sanya Duggal, Strategy Lead at Microsoft South Asia. She shared powerful insights on career planning, emerging technologies, and navigating the tech industry, offering students invaluable direction and inspiration.
CICE also hosted an exclusive interactive session with Luv Babbar, of Code Help, to guide students on coding, placements, and career growth. His sessions were focused on mastering DSA, building strong technical profiles, and understanding the expectations of the tech industry. The interaction left a lasting impact on aspiring software engineers across the institute.
POWER 3.0, conducted in , introduces students to the world of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). The workshop blends conceptual learning with practical demonstrations, enabling students to understand drone dynamics, wireless control systems, and real-world UAV applications in areas such as logistics and disaster management.
POWER 3.1 focused on Microcontrollers, Wireless Communication, and Proteus Software Simulation. The workshop included hands-on sessions, live mentoring, and a live PCB fabrication demonstration. Participants design and build their own circuits based on the skills they acquire, with the most innovative PCB designs being recognized and awarded.
Through these flagship events, CICE fosters a rich ecosystem of innovation, practical learning, and technical excellence, empowering students to transform ideas into impactful solutions
Through its flagship events, impactful initiatives, and recognized achievements, CICE continues to drive aculture of innovation, collaboration, and experiential learning—empowering students to bridge the gap between classroom knowledge and real-world application.
