CRESCENDO: THE MUSIC HUB OF JIIT

Crescendo is built on a simple yet profound philosophy: to provide a platform for everyone who has music in their soul. Students from all academic streams and years are encouraged to join, bringing with them diverse musical influences. The hub promotes collaboration across genres—where Hindustani and Carnatic melodies blend with Indian folk, and contemporary styles such as hip-hop, rock, and pop. The result is a vibrant community and unforgettable musical experiences.

Signature Annual Events

• Unplugged: A musical evening dedicated to acoustic performances by students from every year.
• Euphonium: An event exclusively for instrumentalists to showcase mastery of instruments, from classical to contemporary.
• Voice of Impressions: A flagship solo vocal event where singers compete for the title of “Voice of Impressions.”

• Crescendo Orientation and Induction: Annual welcome sessions for freshers.
• JIIT Unplugged: A showcase event encouraging group performances by members and new students.
• Impressions (Annual Fest):
  • Antakshari: Popular team event with over 250 students participating.
  • Euphonium: Instrumental competition introduced within the fest.
  • Voice of Impressions: Solo singing competition with inter-college participation.
• Collaborations and Institutional Performances: Crescendo regularly performs at JIIT events such as Ebullience, Ride Hack, conferences, Alumni Meets, Rap Cypher, Synergy, and more.

National Significance Contributions

• Independence Day celebrations at JIIT.
• Gandhi Jayanthi programs.
• Community outreach at AIIMS, New Delhi, where members perform for cancer patients.

The hub provides opportunities to collaborate, perform, and grow, whether one is an experienced performer or a beginner. Annual orientation and induction sessions are held at the start of each academic year.
