Whether someone is new to programming or already proficient, the club offers opportunities to grow through hands-on projects, real-world challenges, and exposure to emerging technologies.

Throughout the academic year, DSC-JIIT organizes a range of initiatives that empower students to learn by doing. From foundational workshops in web and mobile development to advanced sessions on artificial intelligence, machine learning, and quantum computing, the club ensures that learning is practical and project-driven. Events like the Internal Hackathon for Smart India Hackathon 2024, a hands-on Android Development Workshop, and Hackin’ Winters 2025—a 48-hour hackathon focused on the UN Sustainable Development Goals—have seen enthusiastic participation and high-impact outcomes. Additionally, engaging competitions such as Ctrl+Alt+Meme and Hack the AI, held during Synergy 2025, combined technical thinking with creative problem-solving to push the boundaries of student innovation.

The club thrives under the mentorship of its faculty advisor, Mr. Prashant Kaushik, and the dedication of over 30 core student members who coordinate and execute every initiative with vision and precision. More than just a technical club, DSC-JIIT is a movement—one that believes in equipping students with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to solve real-world problems and lead the future of technology.

• Internal Hackathon for SIH 2024 (September 2024)
  Offline hackathon across JIIT-62 & 128, evaluated by 12 faculty panels. Top teams were shortlisted to represent JIIT in Smart India Hackathon 2024.
• Android Development Workshop
  Hands-on session introducing Android app development using Kotlin. Participants built a basic note-taking app while learning key Android concepts.
• Hackin’ Winters 2025 (January 2025)
  48-hour hackathon focused on UN SDGs. 60+ teams participated, building impactful tech solutions with mentorship and expert evaluation.
• Quantum Computing Workshop
  Introductory session on quantum computing fundamentals, including qubits, gates, and career paths—aligned with the UN’s Quantum Science Year.
• Ctrl+Alt+Meme — Synergy 2025 (February 2025)
  Fun-filled coding + meme debugging event during Synergy. 50+ teams solved humorous code puzzles in a two-round challenge.
• Hack the AI — Synergy 2025 (February 2025)
  Teams reverse-engineered AI-generated outputs in a unique logic-decoding competition. Engaged 25+ teams over two high-energy rounds.
