Game Development Hub

Since our childhood, we have been undeniably fond of games. Be it digital games or physical games, they all bring joy as well as a sense of competitiveness in our lives. Games are a way to let out our inner child and explore the self we didn’t know we had in us. It’s a way to tell our stories in the form of interactive environments and let people experience “YOU” and “YOUR” stories in a fun and engaging way.

Agree or not but we all dreamed of building our own games. But somewhere along the way of battling through our academics, we have lost our spark and pushed that inner voice behind in our heads.

Now as we enter our college life

Now as we enter our college life we have immense time upon us to explore that inner voice of ours… And as we have time in our hands, we need the right guidance to streamline our ideas and a place where people feel more than just colleagues.

The Game Development Hub at JIIT is more than just a technical cell—it's a creative playground, a collaborative space, and a student-driven community where ideas evolve into interactive realities.

Whether you’re a developer, designer, artist, or someone just curious about how games work, the hub is where passion meets possibility. Even if you are of non-tech background, nothing will stop you from having this chance to explore your inner child.

It brings YOU together with students across all branches and years to learn by doing, explore modern tools, and build projects through shared curiosity, mentorship, and teamwork. From beginner tutorials to full-fledged multiplayer games, this is where imagination comes to life, one pixel at a time.

What We Do

Workshops: Learn game tools like Unity, Unreal, Blender.
Game Architect: Seniors guide juniors to build complete games.
Artist Track: Create game assets using Blender, Photoshop, etc.
Competitions: Game jams, hackathons & e-sports events.
Community: Build, collaborate, and grow together.
Vision: Games for all—fun, inclusive, and open to everyone without discrimination at any level.
