Dr. Kaushik Saha

Dr. Kaushik Saha joined STMicroelectronics Ltd in 1996, after having obtained his B.Tech, M.Tech. and Ph.D. degrees from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi as a designer of semiconductor memories in the Memory Products Group. Subsequently, he was Principal Member Technical Staff in the Advanced Systems Technologies group of STMicroelectronics, having been involved in advanced R&D on devices and systems till 2013, after which he joined Samsung Electronics. At present he is Chief Technology Officer, Advanced Software Team, Samsung R&D Institute India, Delhi. His research interests are in the areas of Advanced Processor Architectures, Parallel Algorithms & Architectures for Digital Signal and Image Processing and Analysis and low power, low voltage SoC design. He is also associated with the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in the capacity of Adjunct Faculty, teaching advanced topics in VLSI design.
