Biography

Aarti Goel is pursuing a Ph.D. in IT department at Netaji Subhas University of Technology (Formerly N.S.I.T.), New Delhi. She received M.Tech degree in CSE from Delhi Technological University (Formerly Delhi College of Engineering) and B.Tech in CSE from Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (Formerly Uttar Pradesh Technical University). She is a UGC NET (Computer Science and Applications) qualified candidate with more than 12 years of teaching experience. She has authored several book chapters and research papers published in reputed conferences and journals. Her research interests include Internet-of-Things, Cryptography, Cloud Computing, and Network Security.

Research Highlights

Aarti Goel is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Netaji Subhas University of Technology, Delhi, with her research focused on the design and analysis of authentication protocols for the Internet of Things (IoT). She has published extensively, including two SCI-indexed journal articles in Expert Systems (Wiley) and Journal of Ambient Intelligence and Smart Environments (IOS Press), five international conference papers such as ACM IC3 (2023), and four book chapters with reputed publishers like Springer, Wiley, Academic Press, and Elsevier. Her research interests span IoT security, authentication protocols, encryption algorithms, fog and edge computing security, blockchain in healthcare, and cloud identity management. She holds two patents—a UK Design Patent for an AI-based nerve activation device for healthcare treatment and an Indian Design Patent for an AI-based mental health diagnostic device, both awarded in 2023. Her contributions have been recognized with the Commendable Research Award (₹50,000) from NSUT for 2020–2022 and the Excellent Faculty Award for achieving 100% results in Digital Logic Design. In addition to her research, she has served as a reviewer for journals such as Transactions on Emerging Telecommunications Technologies (Wiley) and conferences including IC3-2024. With experience guiding over 30 digital logic design projects, she actively integrates teaching, supervision, and impactful research in emerging areas of computing.
