Diksha Pandey

Biography

I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. I completed my Master of Technology (M.Tech.) from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Delhi and hold a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Information Technology. 

My academic interests include Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Medical Image Analysis, and Generative AI. During my M.Tech, I worked on a deep learning-based medical image classification project for cardiovascular disease diagnosis using cardiac MRI images. This work was published in the proceedings of the IEEE Conference on Smart Systems and Digital Technologies (IC2SDT 
2025), which is indexed in Scopus.

I qualified the GATE examination three consecutive times (2023, 2024, and 2025) and was awarded a Silver Medal in the NPTEL certification course on Generative AI.

Research Highlights

My research focuses on the application of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning for solving real-world problems, particularly in healthcare. During my M.Tech. at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Delhi, I worked on a deep learning-based medical image classification project for the early diagnosis of cardiovascular diseases using cardiac MRI images. The 
research involved image preprocessing, CNN-LSTM model development, and performance evaluation using different optimization algorithms.
