Dr. Ankita Mishra

Biography

Dr Ankita Mishra is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at JIIT, Noida. She earned her PhD from the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Ropar, 2024. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Allahabad from 2013 to 2017. She has secured university gold medals in both BA and MA in Psychology. She qualified for UGC NET-JRF in 2018. Before joining JIIT, she has worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Liberal Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Bangalore and taught courses in Psychology to undergraduate and postgraduate students.  

Her research interests include Organizational Behaviour, Entrepreneurship Psychology, Personality and Individual Differences, Experimental/Interventional Studies, and Pro-Environmental Behaviour. She is specifically oriented towards fostering student learning and motivation through the implementation of psychological theories in various domains.
