Biography

Dr. Gaurav Agarwal, Assistant Professor, has been working in the Department of Mathematics, JIIT, Noida since July 2023. Prior to joining JIIT, he worked as Assistant Professor at GCET Greater Noida from February 2022 to July 2023. He completed his MSc in Mathematics from IIT Delhi and PhD from JMI, New Delhi. He cleared various exams including IIT JAM, GATE, NET JRF.

Research Highlights

His research focuses on metric fixed-point theory, with a current emphasis on the proximal point algorithm and the existence and convergence of fixed-point theorems for various non-Lipschitz mappings in geodesic spaces.
