Biography

Dr. Kedar Nath Singh is currently serving as an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Patna, and completed his M.Tech. from NSUT East Campus, Delhi (formerly Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Delhi). He has over 14 years of experience in academics and research, with a strong focus on Deep Learning, Multimedia Security, Digital Image Processing, and Data Hiding Techniques. Dr. Singh has authored several high-impact publications in reputed international journals and conferences, including IEEE Transactions and ACM Transactions. His research contributions aim to advance secure and intelligent systems, and he remains actively engaged in cutting-edge developments in these fields.

Dr. Kedar Nath Singh conducts research in the areas of deep learning, multimedia security, digital watermarking, and encryption, with a strong focus on practical applications such as digital copyright protection, AI model ownership, and smart healthcare systems. His work brings together advanced computational techniques, including deep learning architectures, chaos theory, steganography, biometric authentication, and federated learning, to develop secure, privacy-preserving systems for multimedia data. He has authored over 40 peer-reviewed publications and patents. His research has been published in several high-impact international journals and conferences, including IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Computational Social Systems Neurocomputing, Future Generation Computer Systems, and ACM Transactions. He also holds three Indian patents related to secure multimedia and AI-based technologies. In recognition of his contributions, Dr. Singh received the Best Paper Award at the Conference on Computational Intelligence in Communications and Business Analytics (CICBA-2024). He is also actively involved in peer review for reputed journals such as IEEE Transactions on Multimedia, IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics, and IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology. Dr. Singh’s interdisciplinary research contributes to the advancement of intelligent, secure, and scalable solutions in the domains of multimedia computing and artificial intelligence.
