Dr. Ramanand Bisauriya

Biography

Dr. Ramanand Bisauriya is an accomplished academic and researcher, currently serving as an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida, India.
He earned his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the Università degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata, Italy (2024), where he engaged in collaborative research with leading European institutions, including the NOVA School of Science and Technology (FCT NOVA), Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, Portugal. His international research exposure has built a strong foundation in sensors and nanotechnology, with applications spanning interdisciplinary domains.
Dr. Bisauriya holds an M.Tech (Honors) in VLSI Design (2017) and a B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (2012) from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), India. Prior to joining JIIT, he gained valuable industry-research experience at CSIR-CEERI, Pilani, where he worked for two years, followed by significant contributions to an ASEAN–DST International Collaborative Project, further broadening his expertise in interdisciplinary and cross-border research.
In recognition of his early-career contributions, Dr. Bisauriya was awarded the prestigious “Young Scientist Fellowship” by the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology, India. His academic journey reflects a commitment to advancing nanotechnology, sensor innovation, and next-generation electronic systems through both research and teaching.

Research Highlights

Dr. Bisauriya’s core expertise lies in the synthesis and characterization of chalcogenides, carbon-based, and various oxide/sulfide nanomaterials using advanced methodologies. These engineered materials are primarily developed for applications in optoelectronics, opto-chemical sensing, and biosensing. He also specializes in the design, fabrication, and characterization of nano-biosensor devices, leveraging advanced Clean Room facilities and integrating machine learning techniques to optimize device performance and analytical capabilities.

Alongside his research expertise, Dr. Bisauriya possesses a strong academic foundation in electronics, with teaching and research experience spanning Basic and Digital Electronics, Electronic Devices and Circuit Theory, Low Power CMOS VLSI Design, Micro- and Nanoelectronics, and Microfluidics.
