Biography
Dr. Rashmi Kushwah is an accomplished academician and researcher with over 16 years of experience in higher education. She is currently serving as Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering and Information Technology at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida, India. She holds a Ph.D. in Information Technology from ABV-IIITM Gwalior in 2018, B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from UIT Barkatullah University, Bhopal in 2006, and M.Tech. in Software Engineering from Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak in 2009.
Dr. Kushwah has significant experience as an NBA module coordinator for Computer Science courses and is a core member of the department's NAAC team. She actively contributes to institutional-level responsibilities including the Evaluative Report of the Department, Institution Industry Linkage Cell, Program Assessment Committee, Student Induction Program for Universal Human Values, OutcomeBased Education, and serves as the Departmental PhD Coordinator and Question Paper Repository Coordinator at the JIIT Wish Town campus.
Her core teaching and research interests lie in wireless networks, ad hoc and sensor networks, security and cryptography, Internet of Things (IoT), and cybersecurity. She teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate courses, mentors’ students, and currently guiding two Ph.D. scholars. She has also supervised numerous B.Tech. projects. Dr. Kushwah has authored over 30 research publications in peer-reviewed journals, conferences, and book chapters, with 24 indexed in Scopus. She is a member of professional organizations including IEEE, ACM, ACM-W, IAENG, and IFERP, and serves on editorial boards and conference program committees.
