Biography

Dr. Ruchin Gupta is an experienced academician and researcher in computer science with over 23 years of teaching experience. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida, and specializes in code smell detection, machine learning, and software quality. He has published extensively in high-impact journals and conferences indexed in SCIE, Scopus and IEEE and serves as a reviewer for reputed journals such as IEEE Access and Knowledge-Based Systems, S N Computer Science etc. Dr. Gupta is a member of IAENG and has contributed through published patents. Currently an Assistant Professor at JIIT Noida, he has previously held key academic positions and received multiple awards for his research and teaching excellence.

Dr. Ruchin Gupta, with over 24 years of academic and research experience, specializes in software engineering, AI, ML, and code quality analysis. His pioneering work in code smell detection has introduced novel taxonomies, metrics, and transfer learning methods, published in leading journals including Journal of King Saud University-CS and SN Computer Science. Beyond software quality, he has contributed to blockchain, healthcare prediction, and IoT applications, supported by multiple patents. An active reviewer for IEEE Access and other SCIE journals, Dr. Gupta combines theoretical innovation with applied solutions, advancing intelligent, adaptive, and interdisciplinary approaches in computing research.
