Biography

Dr. Varun Srivastava has done the Ph.D. and M.Tech at Department of Information Technology GGSIPU, New Delhi. He has been a Visveswaraya fellowship awardee during his Ph.D. He did his B.tech from BVCOE New Delhi, GGSIPU. His research interests are Computer Vision, Medical Imaging, Machine and Deep Learning. He has published several SCIE/Scopus journal and International Conference papers in medical image analysis field.

Research Highlights

His main contribution has been in the field of Computer Vision and Machine learning. He has developed many texture based feature extraction algorithms for Content-based Biomedical image retrieval. Also, he has combined these features along with latest Deep network models. He has published many SCI/SCIE/Scopus papers in international journals and conferences. Also he has been a reviewer in many journals, and chaired many sessions in conferences.
