Dr.Harish Bishwakarma

Biography

Dr. Harish Bishwakarma is an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) at JIIT Noida with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. He has designed and developed hybrid machines for nanocomposite fabrication, with applications in supercapacitors and energy storage. Dr. Bishwakarma has served as Team Leader (PA-III) at CSIR-CIMFR, working with Coal India and NTPC on coal analysis using advanced techniques. He worked in CSIR CMERI Durgapur as Senior project associate for development of single crystal materials (may use in Jet engine). Dr. Bishwakarma is a two-time GATE qualified professional with a strong academic and research background. He has published 23 SCI-indexed journal papers, 7 Scopus-indexed publications, and 2 book chapters at national and international levels. He is proficient in SolidWorks, Pro-E, AutoCAD, and skilled in advanced equipment such as FESEM, TEM, XRD, Raman spectroscopy, electrochemical testing systems, and 3D printing technologies. Dr. Bishwakarma’s innovative research, teaching experience, and hands-on expertise make significant contributions to materials science and advance manufacturing engineering.

 Dr. Harish Bishwakarma working in the field of nanocomposite, energy storage (Batteries supercapacitor and hydrogen Energy), materials characterization, Micro manufacturing, additive manufacturing, Drnorobotics 3D printing and Biotechnology. I have published more than 30 paper in reported journal Like Elsevier, Springer, and Taylor & Francis, CRC press, Springer nature.

His academic impact is well recognized, with more than 300 citations, an h-index of 11, and an i10-index of 11 on Google Scholar (as of April 2026).
