Mr. Gaurav Sinha

Biography

Mr. Gaurav Sinha is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida, Uttar Pradesh. He is currently pursuing Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering. He earned his M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialization in Data Analytics from JIIT, Noida, in 2021, and completed his B.Tech. in Information Technology from GGSIPU, New Delhi, in 2019.

Prior to joining JIIT, he worked as a Software Engineer at L&T Technology Services for 3.5 years (October 2021 – March 2025). During this time, he was involved in deploying machine learning models, anomaly detection systems, and real-time data dashboards for industrial applications.

He is actively engaged in supervising student research and leading projects focused on developing scalable, adaptive, and data-driven solutions for dynamic environments. His research integrates principles ofautomation, data consistency, and system responsiveness, contributing to the broader field ofintelligent computing.

Research Highlights

His research explores the design and development ofintelligent systems capable ofadapting to evolving patterns anduncertainties inreal-world, dynamic environments. The focus lies on scalable frameworks for learning from continuous data streams and ensuring consistent performance under real-time constraints.

His work lies at the intersection ofadaptability, automation, and data-centric decision-making. Current efforts are directed towardbuilding robust solutions that support intelligent decision-making in data-intensive and time-sensitive applications. His research also addresses land cover monitoring through data-centric a nd machine learning approaches, enabling efficient analysis of temporal and large-scale environmental data for robust and reliable decision-support systems.
