Poonam Singh is an Assistant Professor (Grade-II) in the Department of Computer Science and 
Engineering at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida. She is currently pursuing her 
Ph.D. at Delhi Technological University (DTU), Delhi, where her research focuses on machine learning, 
deep learning, generative artificial intelligence, and imbalanced data classification. She has qualified 
the GATE and UGC-NET examinations. She holds an M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering 
from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Uttarakhand and a B.Tech. in Computer Science and 
Engineering from Govind Ballabh Pant Engineering College. With more than eight years of experience 
in higher education, she has been associated with prestigious institutions including Dehradun Institute 
of Technology (DIT), Graphic Era Hill University, and Galgotias College of Engineering and 
Technology prior to joining JIIT Noida. She has published research papers in reputed international 
conferences and Springer proceedings.
