B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering

B.Tech
Electronics and Communication Engineering

The B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at JIIT, Noida is a four-year program that combines the power of electronics with the versatility of communication technologies. It is designed to prepare students for the fast-changing world of technology, where devices, systems, and networks form the backbone of modern life. The program gives students a strong foundation in mathematics, physics, and engineering principles, along with hands-on experience in specialized areas such as circuit design, microprocessors, VLSI, wireless communication, signal processing, embedded systems, and the Internet of Things (IoT). With the rise of Artificial Intelligence, 5G, and smart devices, ECE graduates are in high demand across industries worldwide.

At JIIT, the learning experience goes beyond classrooms. Students work in state-of-the-art laboratories equipped with industry-standard tools and they participate in projects that encourage innovation and problem-solving. Regular workshops, expert lectures, and hackathons help them stay aligned with the latest industry trends. The department also emphasizes research, entrepreneurship, and interdisciplinary learning, encouraging students to explore applications of electronics in healthcare, automation, robotics, and sustainable energy. Strong industry collaborations ensure that students gain valuable exposure through internships and live projects.

Graduates of the program have consistently secured top placements in reputed companies like Qualcomm, Microsoft, Amazon, and STMicroelectronics, with some pursuing higher studies at leading global universities.
