Regular upgradation is carried out based on availability of seats is carried out till the last date of admission.

Q4. Does the University provide Laptop?
No, University does not provide Laptop to student.
Q5. What is the refund policy on cancellation of admission?
JIIT follows refund policy as per UGC norms. Details are available at Refund Policy.
Q6. How is Branch allocation done for admission in BTech program?
Branch allocation will be done for the candidate as per merit, provided the candidate has filled his final choice of program and paid the counselling fees before the date of online counselling.

No changes in application form is permitted. However, only choice of Institute/Program/Branch can be edited before the counselling (to be communicated)
Q25. Does JIIT have the counselling in offline or online mode?
Counselling for Admission is AY 2026-27 will be held in online mode.
Q26. Is there lateral entry/ direct admission to 2nd year at JIIT?
Yes, there is a provision of Lateral entry to 2nd year BTech program for candidates of Diploma, BSc in Science subjects (Mathematics compulsory), 3 Years BVoc/DVoc.
Q27. What are the scholarship provided by JIIT?
Yes, following scholarships are offered: -
Upto 50% Fee Waiver in Tuition Fee for BSc, MSc., MCA, MBA, MDes.
Teaching Assistantship for MTech Program, Candidates eligible for TA as per existing policy (Rs. 15000/- per month).
For BTech Program: -
Scholarship upto 50 % on tuition fees to Girl students whose Parents’ income is less than 8 Lakhs per annum for BTech program.
100% Scholarship to State Board Toppers for BTech program
AICTE Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme: 100% tuition fee waiver for BTech program for 2% of approved seats of program, as per merit. Student’s whose parent’s annual income from all sources does not exceed Rs 8.00 lakhs per annum will be eligible. Valid Income Certificate issued by the State Authorities only will be accepted.
William Webster Scholarship: Tuition fee waiver in the academic year, equivalent to tuition fee of one semester. 02 scholarships (one each in Sec-62 and Sec-128). Combined income of parent should be less than Rs. 8.0 Lac per annum. Merit list prepared in second semester considering student’s marks in class 10th, class 12th and result of first semester.
