Prof. Vikas Saxena (Executive MBA from Harvard Business School, USA, and an alumnus of VJTI, Mumbai), with over 25 years of experience, has been associated with the Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida, for more than 22 years. He was appointed Head of the Department of CSE & IT in 2018 and was promoted to the position of Director, JIIT Noida, in February 2023.

In addition to his responsibilities as HOD, he has spearheaded several strategic initiatives, including the digitization of JIIT’s educational content; the establishment of the Digital Learning Centre and the High-Performance Supercomputing Centre (the Ramanujan Universe); and the development of live online classroom infrastructure (Bodh Kaksh), comparable to facilities available in Ivy League universities in the USA. He also played a key role in the establishment and launch of the Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE).

Following the successful completion of his Executive MBA from Harvard Business School (PLD 40) in June 2025. In recognition of his visionary leadership and commitment to transforming the landscape of digital education, he has been entrusted with the responsibility of Founding Director (CDOE).

He has authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications in leading journals and conferences, including IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing, IEEE Access, Elsevier Computer Communications, Wiley SPE, and Neural Computing and Applications etc. His work has also been presented at premier A and A* conferences such as IEEE-ICC and IEEE-INFOCOM. His published research articles have attracted over 4,100 citations by March 2026.
Dr. Saxena has supervised 12 Ph.D. (CSE) theses in areas including quantum computing, multimedia and network security, blockchain, and remote sensing image processing, along with 25 postgraduate dissertations and over 140 undergraduate projects. He has been granted two patents and has received a CST-funded project. He continues to mentor doctoral scholars and serves as a reviewer for several high-impact journals. Since 2008, he has co-organized the prestigious  Computing Conference IC3, along with Stalwart Computer scientist Prof. Sartaj Sahni (University of Florida, USA).

Beyond teaching and research, he has held key administrative roles and contributed significantly to national accreditation and ranking processes of JIIT, including NAAC, NBA, UGC, AICTE, and NIRF.

He has visited Hong Kong, Tokyo, Riyadh, the USA, and Dubai etc. for various academic, research, and official engagements.

In addition to the above roles, he currently serves as Vice President of the RIDE Society (Research, Innovation, Development & Entrepreneurship), a body dedicated to fostering a startup culture, strengthening the innovation ecosystem, and supporting incubation initiatives. He also serves as an Independent Director on the boards of two companies and as Joint Secretary of the Jaypee Institute Esports Society.

Prof. Shweta Srivastava is a Fellow of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (FIETE), a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (SMIEEE), and currently serves as the Director at the Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida.

She successfully completed the Senior Executive Leadership Program in Organizational Leadership from Harvard Business School Executive Education in September 2025.

Prof. Srivastava earned her Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, India, in 2002. Since then, she has been actively involved in research and development in diverse areas including microstrip antennas, active and smart antennas, millimeter-wave antennas, reconfigurable antennas, beam-forming antennas, on-chip antennas, microwave integrated circuits, and active/passive substrate integrated waveguides (SIW).

She has authored and co-authored over 100 research papers in national and international journals and conferences, including IEEE Transactions, contributed to book chapters, and filed patents. Under her supervision, 14 Ph.D. scholars have successfully completed their degrees, with 3 more currently pursuing their research. She is also a reviewer for several reputed national and international journals, including IEEE Transactions, IEEE Wireless Propagation Letters, and Wireless Personal Communications.

Prof Pammi Gauba’s research work addresses critical national and global challenges of pollution through innovative, sustainable approaches. Her research spans multiple dimensions of environmental science with a focus on sustainable solutions for pollution mitigation. Prof. Gauba has received funding from various Govt. agencies from Ministry of Ayush, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate change, ICMR, DST etc. She has successfully completed Seven Govt funded grants and presently working on another five research projects funded by various Govt agencies. Her research group explores the use of specialized microorganisms for the degradation and detoxification of contaminants, particularly heavy metals. Her contributions bridge laboratory research and field-scale applications, significantly advancing both the science and practice of pollution control. Dr. Gauba’s work has been widely recognized through high-impact publications, invited talks at national and international platforms, research grants, published patents and prestigious awards.  Her pioneering efforts continue to shape contemporary strategies in environmental sustainability.5 patents published 13 projects( completed and ongoing)110 + publications

Prof. Anubha Vashisht is a Professor of Marketing and Director Jaypee Business School. She has a blend of corporate and academic experience. She started her career with Pharmaceutical Industry. Passion for academics led her into teaching assignment at many institutes of repute. Prior to this assignment, she has held various academic and administrative positions at Sharda University and Symbiosis International University, Noida Campus. Prof. Vashisht brings in over 23 years of rich experience in teaching and training, research, business consulting and academic administration. Institution building and championing new initiatives has been her forte. She has served as Member Board of Studies (BoS) under the Faculty of Management, Member Academic Council, Executive Council and Board of Management. She has expertise in ranking and accreditation NAAC, NBA, NlRF, QS, AACSB, International mobility and immersions programmes.

She is actively delivering training sessions and Management Development Programs to the corporates like Larsen & Toubro, HFS etc. She has handled two International Consultancy assignments at Telxess Consulting Services (P) Ltd and completed five industry projects with companies like Mahindra and Mahindra and Hindustan Field Force Services. She is a recognized guide and external expert for the doctoral programs at various renowned universities. She is also a motivational speaker and has conducted workshops on topics like Creative Decision Making, Habits of Successful people, Business Plan, Self-Management.
