We are pleased to announce that our institution has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 25th March 2026 with the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology, Pune, for the installation of an All-in-One Compact Automatic Weather Station (AWS).
This initiative, under the Urban Meteorology Project, aims to enhance weather monitoring across Delhi-NCR through a network of 185 AWS units.
The system will capture vital atmospheric parameters including temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind speed & direction, and atmospheric pressure—supporting cutting-edge research and improving our understanding of urban climate dynamics.
This collaboration marks a significant step toward data-driven environmental research and sustainable urban development. 🌍
