2026 Eighteenth International Conference on Contemporary Computing (IC3-2026)

The International Conference on Contemporary Computing (IC3) is being jointly organized by Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida, India and University of Florida (UFL), Gainesville, USA annually since 2008. The conference tracks characterize core developments in contemporary areas of computer science. Like past fourteen editions, IC3-2026 also aims to bring together researchers and practitioners from academia, industry and government to deliberate upon the Intelligent computing, Network and Social computing, Data and Cloud computing, Computer Algorithms and Applications, System and Software Engineering aspects of contemporary computing. Every year the conference also features multiple eminent keynote speakers from academia and industry as well as presentations of accepted research papers and exhibits.

30th International Symposium on VLSI Design and Test (VDAT 2026)

Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida is hosting the 30th International Symposium on VLSI Design and Test (VDAT 2026) from 20–22 August 2026 at JIIT Sector 62, Noida. The theme of VDAT 2026 is “Advancing Intelligent, Secure and Quantum-Ready Semiconductor Systems for the Next Era of Computing.” The symposium will bring together leading researchers, academicians, industry experts, and innovators in VLSI, semiconductor devices, AI-driven hardware, security, reliability, packaging, and quantum technologies. Business Model Canvas (BMC) and Business Model Fit
Physics and Material Science

The Department of Physics and Materials Science Engineering (PMSE), Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Sector-128, Noida, successfully organized an expert session on “Business Model Canvas (BMC) and Business Model Fit” under the IIC 8.0 activity on 9 May 2026.

The session featured eminent speakers, Dr. Neetima Agarwal and Dr. Shriram Anil Purankar, who shared their expertise on innovation-driven entrepreneurship, startup ecosystem development, and strategic business planning.

The experts elaborated on the importance of the Business Model Canvas framework in designing sustainable business models and emphasized the significance of achieving business model fit by aligning customer needs, value propositions, and market opportunities.

The session provided participants with practical insights into transforming innovative ideas into viable business ventures and highlighted the relevance of entrepreneurial thinking in academic and research environments.

The interactive discussions and case-based examples made the session highly engaging and informative for faculty members and students.

The event was coordinated by Dr. Amit Verma and witnessed enthusiastic participation from attendees across the institute. The program contributed significantly towards promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup awareness among the participants.

International Young Quantum Scientists’ Meet 2026
Physics and Material Science

The second edition of the International Young Quantum Scientists’ Meet will be organized by JIIT, Noida from March 16-20, 2026. This is in continuation  with the last one being held in September 2024. This online event will provide a platform to the enthusiastic young researchers working in the domain of Quantum Communication, Quantum Computing, Quantum sensing, Quantum Materials and Quantum Optics to share their results and  explore the avenues for new collaborations.

National Science Day on 28 February 2026
Physics and Material Science

The Department of Physics and Materials Science and Engineering, in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), JIIT Noida, celebrated National Science Day on 28 February 2026 in a hybrid format at the Digital Room.

The event featured an insightful expert lecture by Prof. Rajesh Kumar (IIT Indore), along with enthusiastic online participation from Jaypee University, Anoopshahr.

Around 30 students actively participated in engaging activities including:

Workshop "Recent Developments in Computational Physics"
Physics and Material Science

Department of Physics and Materials Science and Engineering, JIIT Noida, is organizing a two-day SSR Workshop titled “Recent Developments in Computational Physics.” from 9-10 January, 2026. The workshop will take place in offline mode at our Jaypee Wishtown Sector 128 campus. The aim of this workshop is to familiarize faculty members in the NCR region with the latest advances in condensed matter physics and nanotechnology enabled by computational methods. We have invited eminent scientists from JNU, IIT-Delhi, Delhi University, South Asian University and Jamia Millia Islamia to deliver talks. There is no registration fee.
