Interest Area(s)

Acoustic Reflectors,Signal Processing: Linear/non-linear, stationary/non-stationary signals (like biomedical EEG, ECG & audio, image signals etc.) processing (analysis, synthesis, feature extraction etc.) by using different signal analysis methods (like  FFT, STFT, CWT, DWT, EMD etc.).

  • Worked in Mission Chandrayan-1 of ISRO, Completed L & T  Funded project at IIT Delhi.(Insertion loss Measurement in SONAR DOME sheets), Working for DRDO project of Designing Acoustic Reflector.

Consultancy Projects done for CARE, IIT Delhi.

Current Position

  • Dolphin click detector and audio converter (December 2016 - July 2017).
  • Design and development of a system for dolphin habitat monitoring (August 2016 – March 2018).
  • Underwater sound level measurement in National Waterway (July 2018 – December 2018).
  • Design and development of dolphin census system for real time monitoring (Jan 2019 – March 2020).
  • Research and development of ship radiated noise simulator (December 2018 - Ongoing).
  • Design and development of prototype dolphin warning system for ships for IWAI (April 2018 – March 2019).
  • Simulators for Doppler Velocity Log and Echo Sounder for BEL (April 2019 - Ongoing).
  • Optimization of signal processing algorithms for code execution timings used for ship detection in real-time applications for defence applications (March 2020 – June 2020).

Before Current Position

  • Measurement of insertion loss in sonar Dome sheets (L & T) (January 2018 - July- 2010).
  • Design and development of acoustic reflectometry for the measurement of snow water equivalent (July 2012- August 2015) (DRDO).
