POWER 2.1" The three-day workshop by CICE on PCB fabrication began with a theoretical immersion, covering PCB design basics and software tools. Day two saw participants engage in hands-on circuit building and witness live PCB fabrication processes. On the final day, doubts were clarified, projects assigned, and refreshments provided for networking. The workshop seamlessly bridged theory and practice, empowering attendees with essential skills and knowledge. Through interactive sessions and live demonstrations, participants gained insights into PCB fabrication intricacies, fostering confidence and enthusiasm for future projects.

“Spark 1" stood out as an impressive display of innovation and technological expertise, drawing together enthusiasts and creators to unveil their state-of-the-art electronic creations. Each exhibition booth radiated with enthusiasm as passionate individuals eagerly detailed their projects, emphasizing the intricate details and breakthroughs. The event served as a hub of ideas, promoting a sense of camaraderie among attendees who shared a collective passion for electronics. Both visitors and judges were fascinated by the varied applications of technology, witnessing firsthand the transformative potential across diverse fields. Beyond just recognizing participants' accomplishments, the exhibition served as an inspiration for the upcoming generation of inventors, encouraging them to push the technological boundaries

CICE's "Power 2.0" workshop immersed participants in IoT over four days, culminating in a home automation project. Beginning with IoT fundamentals, attendees progressed to hands-on sessions, configuring devices and sensors. Divided into teams, they devised and developed innovative home automation projects under the guidance of the mentors. The workshop concluded with project presentations, fostering collaboration and feedback. Participants are left equipped with practical IoT skills and insights, ready to apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios, contributing to the advancement of home automation technology.

Name of the Event: VIDYUT (Two-day Technical Fest):

• Tentative date: Last Week of April 2023 (24/04/2023 – 27/04/2023)
• Vidyut is basically amalgamation of what we did in our academic session before. The purpose behind Vidyut Is to encourage the students for making innovative prototypes in different fields. We will organize a mega project Exhibition and around 4 events during our Vidyut. We will also be organizing two talks in field of Electronics by guest speakers.

• Many a times we fail to succeed in the completion of a project due the lack of technical knowledge and exposure. After the accomplishment of the Hardware and PCB Fabrication Workshop we organised our final workshop on and about the Machine Learning, the new buzz of technical world. Here we gave a basic insight to the students of the highly diverse field of Machine Learning and Deep Learning.

Name of the Event: Project Oriented PCB Fabrication Workshop(POWER 1.1)

• Tentative Date: 8th February, 2023
• Printed Circuit Boards or PCBs are the replacement for lose wire circuits, it is very troublesome to make complex circuits with lose wires on breadboard and then if it has any lose connections, it can take a lot of time to debug the circuit. PCB is the answer for these entire problems. In this workshop, students will be taught how to fabricate Single Layer PCB’s using Cadsoft Eagle to make the design and layout for simulation. And for implementation we will be using the facility of PCB fabrication available at “Centre of Innovation in VLSI and Smart Systems”, JIIT Noida.
   

Tech Talk: Duration:November 10, 2022 This tech talk was focused for the 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd year students. This will be an introductory talk for the students of 1^st and 2^nd year students about the various fields and domains in Electronics and allied fields. Students also got to know a brief of entrepreneurship, also the challenges that many start ups face at their start.

• This tech talk will be focused for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students. This will be an introductory talk for the students of 1st and 2nd year students about the various fields and domains in Electronics and allied fields

Project Exhibition: Duration: October 14, 2022 This was the first impression of CICE towards the freshers. This project exhibition was held before the orientation lecture to give a brief introduction of the hub to the students and attract the students towards post academic activities like the workshops.

• This will be the first impression of CICE towards the freshers. This project exhibition will take place during the induction program before the orientation lecture to give a brief introduction of the hub to the students and attract the students towards post academic activities like the workshops. We will be organizing a small quiz for our freshers during the exhibition.

Introduction to UAV: Duration: September 24, 2022 This workshop was focused for the 2^nd and 3^rd year students. This was an introductory seminar for the 2^nd and 3^rd year students on the working of UAV’s. Students got an opportunity to learn many things regarding to UAVs, its design, simulation and implementation.

Hackin’ Summer ’22: Duration: April 7, 2022 – April 10, 2022  The CICE team along with 3 other hubs of JIIT-62 organised Hackin’ Summer ‘22. The event started with an intro session with the rules of the hackathon introduced. Further, an internal qualification for Smart India Hackathon ‘22 took place in the Computer Labs during the event. Tech talks took place on the evening 8th, 9th and 10th April. The event concluded with the announcement of results.

ML Workshop: Duration: March11, 2021 – March14,2021 Many a times we fail to succeed in the completion of a project due the lack of technical knowledge and exposure. After the accomplishment of the Hardware Workshop we organised our final workshop on and about the Machine Learning, the new buzz of technical world. Here we gave a basic insight to the students of the highly diverse field of Machine Learning and Deep Learning. This workshop again attracted a crowd of 75 students (5 external 70 internal) from all batches.

Electro Spark: Duration: January 25, 2021 – January 31, 2021 This workshop was focused for the first and second year students. This was an introductory workshop where students were taught about the basic circuit elements and making of a temporary circuit on a breadboard. The main highlight of the workshop was that we taught students about 5 projects some of which were Buzzer, Piano, Intruder Detector and Disco light as a bonus project.This workshop was very successful with over 175active participants (Including external and internal). • Duration: January 25, 2021 – January 31, 2021
• This workshop was focused for the first- and second-year students. This was an introductory workshop where students were taught about the basic circuit elements and making of a temporary circuit on a breadboard. The main highlight of the workshop was that we taught students about 5 projects some of which were Buzzer, Piano, Intruder Detector and Disco light as a bonus project.This workshop was very successful with over 175active participants (Including external and internal).

IMPRESSIONS: Circuit Charades : It was a pen and paper quiz based on general electronics knowledge.

World of Wire(WOW) : This event included three rounds, each to test your technical ability in different ways.

Hakuna Matata : To add to the fun and euphoria of the fest we had this very interesting round where the participant had to give wrong answers to simple questions while doing a fun activity.

ML Workshop: Duration: January 27, 2020-February 04,2020 Manya times we fail to succeed in the completion of a project due the lack of technical knowledge and exposure. After the accomplishment of the Hardware and PCB Fabrication Workshop we organised our final workshop on and about the Machine Learning, the new buzz of technical world. Here we gave a basic insight to the students of the highly diverse field of Machine Learning and Deep Learning.

VIDYUT: Project Exhibition : Recommencing our tradition of project exhibition as a part of the Electronic fest Vidyut we organised this project exhibition with participation of first and second year students.

Circuitronix : This was a technical event held in many stages including one online round.

Amperio : This event was a techno-fun event with rounds like Pictionary with a technical twist.

Roll it Solve it Win it: For the last event of the day we had a very interesting and exciting fun event. A treasure hunt with hints and clues hidden all over our college.

PCB Fabrication Workshop: Duration: September 26, 2019 – October 02, 2019 Printed Circuit Boards or PCB’s are the replacement for lose wire circuits, it is very troublesome to make complex circuits with lose wires on breadboard and then if it has any lose connections, it can take a lot of time to debug the circuit. PCB is the answer for these entire problems.

In this workshop, students were told how to fabricate Single Layer PCB’s using Cad soft Eagle to make the design and layout. More than 200 participated and over 150 Arduino UNO boards were successfully completed by the students.

Workshop for Hardware Creativity for Social Cause –Duration: August 19, 2019 – August 24, 2019 This workshop was focused for the first- and second-year students. This was an introductory workshop where students were taught about the basic circuit elements and making of a temporary circuit on a breadboardThe topic for the innovation was ‘Sensitive Processing Gate’comprising of three parts: Metal Detector, Person Counter and Intruder Detector. This workshop was very successful with over 175 participants.

Project Exhibition and Orientation: An Orientation Program On Innovative Hardware Prototypes was organized by The Creativity and Innovation Cell in Electronics Hub for the first year students to make them aware about the impending social problems prevalent in the society and how, we as the budding engineers, can effectively utilize technology to make a breakthrough in the field.This project exhibition was held before an orientation lecture to give a brief introduction of the hub to the students and attract the students towards post academic activities like the workshops.

Cyber Srishti: Jaypee Innovation Challenge : This was a two round quiz based on electronics and communication. The first round was Screening (basic questions) and the second round was the buzzer round.

IMPRESSIONS: Schlag Den Hitler : It was an electronics quiz with a crossword and word search as a qualifier round and Pictionary as the final round. Different questions where given according to the seniority of different years.

Zuletzt : it was related to circuit making within time limit.

Ratsel : It was a treasure hunt quiz with riddles related to electronics. Similar to previous treasure hunt the students had to take selfies at the venue.

CCNA Networking Workshop – Duration: January 23, 2019 –January 25,2019  Many a times we fail to succeed in the completion of a project due the lack of technical knowledge and exposure. After the accomplishment of the Hardware and PCB Fabrication Workshop we organised our final workshop on and about the Cisco Packet Tracer, a software dedicated to Networking and its concepts.

VIDYUT:  Project Exhibition : Recommencing our tradition of project exhibition as a part of the electronic fest Vidyut we organised this project exhibition with participation of first- and second-year students.

Beg Borrow Steel : This was a fun event held in many stages with an interesting combination of technical skills.

You Snooze You Lose : This was a treasure hunt event which required the students to solve the puzzles and capture selfies at the location.

PCB Fabrication Workshop: Duration: September 13, 2018 – September 15, 2018 Printed Circuit Boards or PCBs are the replacement for lose wire circuits, it is very troublesome to make complex circuits with lose wires on breadboard and then if it has any lose connections, it can take a lot of time to debug the circuit. PCB is the answer for these entire problems. In this workshop, students were told how to fabricate Single Layer PCB’s (here microcontroller) using Cad soft Eagle to make the design and layout. More than 200 participated and over 150 AVR development boards were successfully completed by the students.

Hardware Workshop – Duration: August 8, 2018 – August 14, 2018 This workshop was focused for the first- and second-year students. This was an introductory workshop where students were taught about the basic circuit elements and making of a temporary circuit on a breadboard. The end product of this workshop was a time counter which could count up to 99:99 mins. This workshop was very successful with over 250 participants.

Project Exhibition: This was the first impression of CICE towards the freshers. This project exhibition was held before the orientation lecture to give a brief introduction of the hub to the students and attract the students towards post academic activities like the workshops.
