Biography

  • More than 20 years of experience in teaching, research and administration. 
  • Areas of interest- Financial Management, Accounting, Financial Markets, Banking, Mutual Funds, Taxation, Sustainable Finance, and Financial Inclusion.
  • Member of the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell and Convener of the Stakeholder Relationship Committee of JIIT since 2014.
  • Departmental Coordinator of Outcome Based Education since 2019.
  • Member of the Board of Studies of the HSS department and member of DPMAC of many research scholars.
  • Coordinator of the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, from September 2011 to September 2014.
  • Before joining JIIT, worked with the Apeejay Institute of Technology, School of Management, Greater Noida as a lecturer. Also acted as the Program Coordinator of MBA, Assistant exam superintendent of B.R. Ambedkar Agra University and organized many conferences and guest lectures

Research Project

  • Completed a Major Research Project titled “A Study on Financial Inclusion Initiatives and their Impact on Performance of Commercial Banks in Ghaziabad District” funded by the Indian Council of Social Science Research”.

  • 3 PhD scholars completed in the areas of Banking, Mutual Funds and Goods and Services Tax.
  • 2 PhD scholars working in the areas of Digital payment and Cryptocurrency.
