Laboratories

Laboratory work is a very important part of engineering education. Accordingly, one separate laboratory course is associated with each core course in the undergraduate programme. The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering has well-equipped laboratories catering to the requirements of undergraduates, postgraduates and research scholars. In addition to the well-equipped laboratories, on Basic Electronics and Communication Systems,Electrical Machines, Electronics Devices and Circuits and Project Labs .The department has full fledged laboratories in areas of Microelectronics, Signal Processing and Advanced Communication Systems, VLSI/VHDL Lab. Major facilities available in these laboratories are listed below.

Communication Area and Signal Processing Area :-

  • Major Equipments :- Digital Storage Oscilloscope and DSO 3000 GPIB and RS 232 module (Agilent), Optical Fiber & Communication System kit, Spectrum Analyzer, Bluetooth Development board, Wi-Fi and GSM application boards, Microwave Electronics Passive Components and instruments, Advanced Microstrip Trainer Kit and Antennas kit, Vector Signal Generator, Arbitrary Waveform Generator, Vertex-4 DSP Evaluation Platform (Coreel Technologies), DaVinci processor.
